I just watch it because its really the only show on that talks about atv's.

 

I wish consumer reports rated ATVs. Then we'd get a real Unbiased review. Everyone else has to bend to the will of the sponsers.

 

i thought you guys would like that post. its worth a few laughs lol. yes they do reshow it but dont know when.

 

www.outdoorchannel.com that guy cracks me up- the "trails" he calls hard are soooooo easy! he is a wimp! buy the way - his precious suzuki has recalls for tie rods and throttle problems.

 

Did nobody notice in the show recap he called the Hawkeye amazing? He was much better with this review than some of the past Polaris reviews he has done.

 

this is true. but he cant resist slamming it a little. but did you ever notice that when they go on there rides he is always riding a suzuki, but one of the people in his party seems to be always riding a polaris. one of the last shows i watched he was slamming the 800 on a trip they took because it had to fill up w/ gas more then his suz did. go figue small cc machine w/ old man driving to a more cc machine w/ a young man driving. if that show wasnt so one sided, it makes me laugh.

 

After we get this thread filled up with how the general public realy thinks and feels (Polaris owners), I'm going to e-mail him a link to this thread

 

that would be cool. at least were all honest in the way we feel about the show. but i doubt it would change his mind on anything .

 

I would like to know just how many people trail ride at the speed they do on this show. I'm no spring chicken, most likely older than Doug Myers and I would be bored stiff riding like that.

05 Polaris 800,

 

For me it depends on who I am riding with. My dad will be 70 in June. It takes us about 3 hours to cover 9 miles. On the other hand when me and my newphew and brother inlaw go with their friends we ride 80 miles in about 6 hours.
