Default 2004 Scrambler 500 4x4??

Hello all. I'm looking to buy a used 2004 Scrambler. Here is the ad info.

2004 POLARIS SCRAMBLER 500, yellow/black, 4-wheeler, K&N air filter, jet kit, White Brothers pipe, 4WD, auto, fast, exc cond, $4300 nego

What things should I look for when inspecting the quad?

The A/M pipe and jetting, are they quality parts?

Thanks!
Spears

swing arm bushing for one. maybe look at the chain and sproket for wear. the engine is a good one but check the oil and tranny for water.

All the stuff he has done to it is top of the line parts.Just take a good look at the quad to see if it looks like it has been overly abused.Check the play in the steering and look the chain and sprockets over, check engine oil,it is hard to check tranny oil due to no dipstick.Do ask when the last time it was serviced and aprox. hrs on the machine.GOOD LUCK IMO the 500 Scrambler is as bullet proof machine as you can get

I talked with him this morning. He doesn't know how many hours or mileage.
Do Scramblers come with a speedometer?
He had the Polairis Dealer do the pipe and jetting.
He has replaced all the fluids in January.
He's on the original tires, but from the photo, it may need some rear tires.
He has replaced a belt.
I'm going to look at it tomorrow.
Thanks for all the info!!
