Something else to consider, changing the entire light. You can buy a set of lights with the same wattage, and they should have a bulb that is easy to find replacements for. And those should be cheaper too. The wiring is already done for you.

I believe that the Grainger stock # is 2F274 for a 37 watt and stock # 1E384 for a 27 watt.

I am not certain if these are actually the ones because I haven't physically checked yet.....but they look identical.

Also....you can get them from Kimpex here:

www.kimpex.com

Good Luck, Bob

I would think they are the same as my '03, #894. My wallyworld sells the sylvania 37.5 watt #894 for a little over $6.00. I too thought about upgrading my bumper lights, but the stock ones have the mounting bracket on the side instead of the bottom. Another way Polaris makes it tough to use anything other than stock parts! At least the sylvania bulbs would be a little brighter than the original 27 watters. Hope this helps, check out your local wallyworld!

the 37.5 watt won't hurt melt the mounting housing for the bulbs. i don't know how much hotter that is than the 27 watt.. thanks
