Default OOPS!! EFI Rollover

Hey Guys, has anyone one else had the misfortune of rolling an EFI quad over backwards? I did it this weekend on a small but steep hill. Once I passed the the point of no return, I bailed and the bike continued backwards, resting with all 4 tires upwards. A friend and I got it back upright. There was a little handle bar damage and some damage to the headlight pod. It started right back up with very little problem but the problem was, it would stall out as soon as I would get to an incline. The whole LED display would go blank and the machine would just die. It would start right up again with the turn of the key however. As the afternoon went on this stalling condition lessened but still occurred from time to time. Does anyone know if there is a sensor on the bike that would cause this after a rollover? (Like an Idiot Proof sensor) I haven't had a chance to look inside the pod yet to see if there are any loose or pulled wires, that might be it too. Any thoughts?

I did the same thing loading the ATV in my truck when both ramps kicked out. Fortunatly the skid plate and my tail gate took the brunt of the fall. It leaked a bunch of fule but the quad did not stall becasue I kicked it back onto the truck before it crushed me. You may have soaked your air filter with fule and if may be getting restricted air flow or the MAF is not sensing enough O2 (IF they have one) in the air because for the extra fule vapors. Pull your air box and see if you smell fule. I bet you will.

Sounds like you didnt get hurt and that means a lot. You can always fix broken atv parts but its a little more difficult and painful to fix broken human parts. I rolled my 05 700 over a few months ago (those dam* things are heavy) so i know you pain. I had to get new handle bars, stearing stem, pod, and high beam headlights and i found cheap parts at ridge runner. I also saw some handle bars on ebay the other day going for about $15. Im not sure how this would happen in your case (maybe if you had something in the front rack) but my LED display would also cut off along with my AWD. My problem was that i had a bad fuse. And yeah, if the wires inside your pod going to the ingition or the engine kill switch are loose, they would make the atv cut off. Hope some part of my rambling on helps!
