Doug Myers sucks

I heard Doug has been riding around on BrokeBack mountain with his pants off and a target painted on his a$$ - pretending to be a TV show host looking for a new life partner...

how can he praise the x2 and bash the sportsman. basically same bike except for length. as far as the overide switch its on there for saftey reasons, they want to make sure you have both hands on the bars when your in 4wd in reverse.

I agree with you Gitrdone. Doug Meyer is an awful host. I stopped watching his show several years because he is extremely biased toward Suzuki and Honda. I don't have anything against these two manufacturers, but he basically acts as if Suzuki atvs are a gift from God. It is no surprise that these are two of his sponsors for the show. He gives Suzukis perfect 10s all the time without really explaining himself. It basically comes down to if it is a Suzuki, then it has to get a high rating in every category. Even though I own a polaris, I have a lot of respect for Honda four-wheelers. Most of the guys I ride with own hondas. One thing I would also like to point out is old Doug claimed the predator is a bad trail quad. As John Stossel likes to say, "Give me a break." I guess having one of the best suspensions of any sport quad doesn't quite cut it. Nimble handling, a heavy-duty axle, and PRO steering must not add much to the preddy either since all this is standard on the Japanese atvs. He does have some good points about some of the flaws with polaris's lineup, but he goes to great lengths to make sure he doesn't cover their strengths. All of you can enjoy his so called unbiased reviews, but I will never watch his show again.

The prior week he did a test on the SP800 and had about the same review as the SP500. You have to give the guy a break! I mean just look at him, he's so small that he feels intimidated by the size of the Sportsmans. He has trouble reaching the handlebars and his feet don't touch the floorboards. Also whenever he rides the turkey buzzards are always following him hoping he'll fall off and become an afternoon snack. He would do real well on a perdue commercial. If he ever comes to the east coast to ride I will make him part of my tire tread!

i think they won't put EBS on the front wheels because of the likelihood to "lock" up the wheels. has anyone ever declined a hill in low gear? Mine will start locking up the rear axle... now imagine that if your front wheels locked also... maybe mine has better EBS, but i'm very satisfied with how it descends steep hills.

To keep the poo outta your trousers while on the 500 just hold the brakes and give it just a lil throttle
