problems with a scrambler

Default problems with a scrambler

Hello everyone, does anyone know what the problem with my 2002 scrambler 2x4 could be, prob is when the bike is warm or cold it seems when driving at any throttle is sputtlers, but if u pin it, the bike will sputter for a sec then pick it up and go!, but go back to half throttle and back to sputtering

Welcome to the forums, I am byno means an expert but in my opinion it sounds like there might be something with your carb, might be dirty or clogged because different parts control different throttle positions. Maybe take off the carb and try to clean it, just my 2 cents.

sounds an awful lot like mine was acting with a nasty air filter. I took mine off and ran it down to the mailbox and was blown away by the difference. It had clogged up so gradually that I didn't notice till it got running like you describe. The moral of my story is a K&N cost about 3x as much as the stock replacement but is cleanable and well worth it. Good luck and hopefully it is something that simple, huh.
