Default Newbie needs help: MV7 vs 700 Twin

Guys I am trying to tap into the knowledge base here, need some help, what parts are common between the MV7 and the 700 Twin, one major thing I would like to find out is are the frames the same? almost all of the parts are the same, besides the very noticable parts(racks, bumpers, winches), which can be bolted up to the 700 with modifications(like plastic cutting, etc.)
the frames are the same, but i believe i read some where that the MV7 has a reinforced frame, so that would be the only difference there. all of the racks and bumpers can be mounted up to a sportsman 700.

The Rear suspension is also different. It has about an inch less travel. The front springs are also stiffer. Personaly I'd got for the MV7 becasue it can carry more weight and fule. I also belive it have an AUX fule tank.

The MV7's frame is over 100 lbs heavier than the 700. I recall seeing the dry weight for the MV7 right around 1,000 lbs. The machine has at least on external fuel tank on the rack(s) and has a winch mounted on both sides.

Cost is around $10,000+ tax and license.

the reserve fuel tank is in-frame, like the regular tank, just in a different spot. there are no external fuel tanks on the racks.

Subborne lives in Alabama and dougger222 lives in Minnesota (they have those locations listed anyway). Maybe they have different licensing requirements than Kentucky. Apparently, by your statement, MV7s cannot be ridden in state parks in KY. Why is that? Do you know that MV7s can't be ridden in state parks in MN and AL or are you just making that statment based on KY law? I am just trying to get an education here, I am thinking about taking my 800 down to KY to ride with some of my cousins.
