Default Wider A-Arms???

I know people do this but why? Does it help with suspension or only stability. I want to soften out some jumps and things like that, would this be a waste of money to do this, or does it help with landings. Do they put more stress on other parts during landing or less?

its more stability(I have the AAENs) but it can also increase supension travel since the wheel is further from the pivot point.

for what your looking for the best thing you could do would be get works struts. there worth the cost.
