Default electrical problem 600 sp

2003 Sportsman Machine has ran great then all of the sudden it was only firing on one cylinder no power and came to a stop. I checked wiring tracing everything and then it wouldnt run at all. Pulled a plug and it doesnt have a spark. ?????? I got the values for the stator but they didnt match but that might have been because I didnt do it right. Willl try again tomorrow..... From what Ive read so far.... sounds like a complete electrical overhaul in the $400 dollar range....

Anybody got any experience on this.... found my cattles out and Ive got to get this thing going... please help.
Steve

Sounds like your cdi is going bad, but mine just completely shut down with no firing at all. Dealer replaced cdi, stator and flywheel as a whole new kit out to fix this problem. didn't cost me a dime. but mine broke down in Utah while on vacation there. luckily only lost last day of riding or I'd been real pissed.
