Default Race Mod Pipe?

I am wanting a new pipe for my HPD race mod. I am wanting either the HPD inframe drag pipe, or the CPI inframe drag pipe. All I do is drag race so lets hear some honest opinoins on which pipe is best for drag racing.
Thanks!

I vote CPI. Ive seen them both in action. -drag race only. And I beleve, once its clutched right, the CPI makes more mid and top end power. Plus, their better looking.
What happend with the ftz pipe? did you call them about it?

No, I didn't call them, I think I will just try to get the best pipe for the clutching that HPD hooked me up with. What would I have to change to run the CPI inframe. I have 10-56 weights, almond primary, violet secondary, and drag race helix. And soon to have 15-30 gearing.

The CPI pipe should work nice with that setup.
I think you oughta call FTZ and just ask em what rpm their pipe makes peak power at. You mite get away with a 40$ weight change.
It was a night and day difference in my outframe pipe once I got the "R's" up

I've done everything in my bio below and my 300ft times are exactly the same as they were last year with just a shaved head and piston. I'm not sure but i do believe my clutching is setup right. I'm gonna try the 15/30 gearing that Darrell from HPD told me to try and maybe that will help me.

Hey try out a stock helix and see what happens. I used a race helix and it really hurt performance. I was using the 44-40 helix. Your times should be way better than that. What are your 300 foot times?

15-30 gearing is going to be way to high. I'd try gearing down, those tires are going to really grow by the time you get to 300ft. I'd also ditch the 10 series weights and put the s55 back in, the 10 series weights just don't hit hard enough off the line. Also I like the almond and blue primary better had to many shiftout out problems with the violet, which is the same as the almond one you stated.

I'm just running the gearing Darrell from HPD told me to run, I do have the almond blue primary in the bike.

What gearing were you running before? There is no way you will be fully shifted out at 300ft with that gearing. For maximum acceleration you want your clutches to be fully shifted out at the distance you are running. If you can hook it up of course. I tried every gearing setup there is and the lower I geared it the faster I got. Of course this was sand/dirt mix. I could still run over 70mph with 13-44 gearing. The pipe could be killing your bike as well. I think you will like the hpd or cpi pipe better. Have you tried running the s55 weights?

I thought that was awfully high gearing as well but just didn't say anything.
