01' Trailblazer Brake system

Default 01' Trailblazer Brake system

I have a problem with my breaks. I cannot figure out how to bleed them :-( i have email polaris, tried searching the internet and have found nothing. i have been working on this problem since last fall. does anyone know how to bleed the double brake system on these things!?!

Default 01' Trailblazer Brake system

there are 2 bleeder screws on the rear caliper. One is just for the right foot brake that constantly loses pressure. The other bleeder is for the hand brake. There are also bleeder screws on the front calipers that are controlled by the hand brake. Have someone squeeze the hand brake and hold it while you loosen the bleeder to let the air out of each caliper and do one at a time. Make sure you tighten the bleeder screw before releasing the hand brake or foot brake so that that you don't suck air back into the lines.

hah score! thank you SO MUCH! now i can go tear up my new crome rums, and my new exhaust! :-)
