I have an HPD drag race clutch kit in my bike, I believe the helix is a 44-40, And I have the violet secondary spring in the 2-2 position. Do I have everything setup correct in my secondary?

If you are drag racing only then I hear the 1-1 is a good setup.

 

Thanks Dune, I will try the 1-1 setting and see if it helps, I will still need to turn it 1/3 turn correct?

 

Yes the 1-1 will be the quickest setting.And you will still have to wind the clutch the same.Do you have the HPD SS buttons,if not it is a very good investment.

 

No, I don't have the SS buttons yet but I will add them in the future.

 

It's possible with the 1-1 setting and 44-40 helix that it may bog the engine. The 44-40 will upshift a lot faster than a standard race mod helix therefore 2-2 might work better. Let us know how it comes out. I'm running the 44-36 helix on my race mod with the spring set in 1-1 and it works great!

 

That could be what my helix is i'm not sure, I will look at it when I take it out, I will keep you posted on the results as soon as I get it finished.
