Has anyone ran a maroon snowmobile primary spring in a race mod? Can you tell me the engagement and shiftout on this spring and where I can get one?

Thanks, Yeah it can really wear thin on the patcients! I know the engine has ALOT of power I just have to figure out how to turn it all loose! Ah i'm just gonna keep tring different setup's untill I find the right one. I have to much $$$$ in it to just quit on it now.

epi makes the spring i believe. you may be able to get this spring from polaris. engagment is ALOT higher. whitedog runs 1 so he ought to know more about this.

what clutch weights r you running now?

I have 10M's in it now with the HPD dark blue primary spring. But I think I will put in the 10WH's that I got today from drlang, and my HPD almond Blue primary. I'm not sure what that setup will do but I think i'm gonna try it.

whats your bike engaging in now and what is your top rpm? a tach really will help you get them clutches dialed n. i strongly suggest you getting one of them b4 you start tweeking on your clutches. summit has auto meters for a 100 buks shipped, but your going to need a battery eliminator kit or else your going to fry that tach.
