I have a 1995 sportmen 400 4x4 two stroke. fluds out at leaks gas when not running and will not iddle worm or cold I replaced the neddle and ceat. It's like the floats are set wrong or are to week to shut off the gas. Has anybody else had this problem? sorry about the spelling[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

Did you check to see if the carb float is stuck?

 

yes I did and thay are not maybe thay are week?

 

the little arm on the float could be bent or worn from exxcessive bending over time. What kind of carb is it I am guessing it is a round slide being a two stroke check to make sure the needle is seating all the way also take your float off the carb and see if it floats in a bowl of gas.
