oh buddy.... sounds to me like your valves may be out of spec. This happens to predators from time to time, is it hard to start? if it is it may be valve adjustment time... that's all i can think of if you haven't changed anything else and are SURE the engine is in time... hope someone else has some insight if this is not your problem...

Default Piston and valves hitting!!!

I advanced my exhaust cam 1 tooth from the gold link and it runs like a raped ape.So that made me think if I had to do that then maybe my cam gear sprocket twisted throwing my timing marks off.So my question is can the sprockets twist, and whats holding them on?

YEs they can spin they are just pressed on. Seen it more than once even with stk. cams and motor. ARe you 100% sure that the piston isn't in backwards?

wow! speedwerx nice job! i hadn't even thought of that! i agree, make sure the piston is not in backwards, since you're complaining abut the exaust valves hitting and they're the bigger ones, this would make sense!

I'm Positive I put it in the right way the arrow facing foward to the exhaust .I just rode it today and it runs perfect but I'm still worried that I had to advance my cam.Ahh the hell with it I'm just gonna buy new cams so I dont have to worry about it.Thanks for all you guys input on this, much appreciated!!!
