I am going to test drive a Sp. 800 soon and also a BF750. Is the Sportsman somewhat sporty feeling or is it more utility?
I don't just ride for speed like most. I use my machine to do alot of things, but also like to trail ride.

In my opinion, it is a mixture of the two, sporty and utility. Ive never ridden a scrambler, and have always owned sportsmans, so I may not be a good judge for answering your question however, my 500 and 800 go like hell, ride and handle well, and at the end of the day, my butt isnt sore from being thrown all over the trail. IMO they are great machines for trails, riding double, horsing around gravel pits, mudding, forging streams, and swamp playing.

If you wany a sporty Utility. its not polaris, that is a caddilac. You want AC, they are stiffer and sportier. Im sure everyone will agree

No offense, but no Cat will be in my future. Even though they have come a long way in the last few years.

i hate to say this, but i think you should go with the bomb 800. i am a polaris fan, but i here the bomb 800 has a sportier feel than a sportsman.

the 800 will do what you want it to do. in rankings they place the Bomb 800 in first and the sportsman 800 at first and a half. its too good to be second, but a hair too slow to be first. i feel its the over all best sportutility quad on the market for fit and finish, power, ride and everything else. it would by my first choice, then the BRP800 then a BF750
