Hawkeye IRS
#1
I am just wondering if anybody here with the hawkeye has found a solution to the stif IRS on the machine, also did it squeak alot when it was brand new??? When i get home next week i am gonna tackle this and try to come up with a solution. I was wondering if anybody has dealt with this or has any ideas on where to start. I think i will have to stay with the same length just try to get a lower spring rate??
Any sujestions?

Well it seem as it has softened up a little more now........I guess it just needs more time with a lighter rider!

Well i would recomend it to any people who are looking into getting a ATV for there wife or kid. It is very easy to ride and control(with the 22" tires)(stock) Other than some jetting issues it has been a very good bike. it is just frustrating when you spend the money to get a new bike and then you have problems with it. Now that we have managed to get it running good it goes just about anywhere i go on my sportsman 500 except for those deep water holes. I have thought of uping the size of the tires also but the stock ones seem to be really good, unless you get in some deep mud where the mud tires are required. Also it is light and i myself can lift the *** end over or the front. The way i look at it is that every new bike/model first introduced has to have some problems. I know i had issues with my new trials bike also. It is also just annoying how POLARIS won't admit that there is problems with it. If you do end up getting one and have roubles let me know i may be able to help you out, i have had the whole thing apart to the frame already.
I am sure you would be happy with it. and for a 300 cc it does do 50MPH
