TAKING THE 800 PLUNGE
#11
SPYDEY, you can get the 800 into the Avalanche but it is going to be tight and you'll have to keep the tailgate down. You'll have about an inch on either side and the rear tires will be on the gate. I wouldn't feel comfortable hauling it like this given the expensive plastics and the fact that the tailgate cables will be holding the dead weight. If it were my decision to make, I would borrow my buddies truck and buy a trailer to haul the Beast if I could swing it at all. Besides, the rear of the truck makes nice lockable storage for your tools, gas cans, and extra goodies if you don't want them wet or stolen. We use Momma's Avalanche like this sometimes. Hope this helps. Great minds think alike. Great choices in trucks and quads.

THE NAME OF THE PLACE IS HOFFMANS SPORT AND TURF IN ST MARYS, PA. AS FAR AS CAN AM GOES, I JUST STAY WITH WHAT I KNOW, AND I KNOW MY POLARIS HAS TAKEN CARE OF ME. I STILL HAVE MY SCRAMBLER--FOR THE WIFE AND BESIDES THERE ARE NO CAN AM DEALERS AROUND HERE.
