Default Foaming fuel in carb bowl?

I put new drag race engine mounts on the race chassis and the engine is transferring more vibration to the carb causing the fuel to foam and bubble up in the carb. This is causing a bad operation and the rpm's don't always want to come back down. Anybody else have this problem and how to fix it?

Are you sure that you don't have a 4 yr old child like mine that might put soap in the gas tank. LOL
IS the mounts the only thing that you have done to cause this?

YEP. I hold the carb and the problem goes away, for the most part.

I never heard of a motor doing that. Does it have a counter balance shaft and if it does could it be out of sync?

Yes it does and ye4s it is all in sync. The other mounts were soft and the motor just "floated" in the other mounts. These are very hard and transmits more vibration thru everything atached to it.

I zip tie my carb to keep it from moving around...it seemed to help quite a bit.

Try this then, take some wheel weights and tie to it and see if it helps. If you could fix a bracket from the air box to the carb to reduce the vib. Just my 2 cents in a $3.00 a gallon of gas days. LOL
