I posted a topic several months ago about Polaris parts manuals, and someone gave me a link to Polaris' web site where I could get a copy. A friend just bought a 1997 Sportsman 500 and wants to find a parts manual, anyone have any ideas as to where to get one off of the web?

The only ones that I can find on the web is the current production year models.........

I was having some trouble with the idiot kid behind the parts counter at my dealer so I figured that I would just get the parts manual for my 98 and then there is no way he could screw my parts order up. I emailed Polaris to see if there is one available to download and they emailed back and said that the only way to get one for a prior model year is to buy it from your dealer. Kinda stinks don't it.
