i've been trying to replace the rear left plunger joint on my 02 sp. but the axle wont come out of the rear dif. we have tried pulling, a slide hammer, seperator forks....nothing. it wont budge. any ideas?

 

I am not sure with the Polaris, but it probably is just like the Arctic Cat.

Mine was super hard to get out too, I finally figured out that I had to brace the ATV so it wouldn't budge at all, as when I was giving the axle a yank, the ATV would "lean" an inch or so and bend taking my momentium. So, brace that sucker, get on some gloves, and a swift tug should be all it takes. Good luck.
