as far as I know it's the number created and the special paint.
Have a look at your rear fenders down around the floorboards where they meet. Mine is starting to chaff through the metallic paint down to the base red plastic. I'm totally not impressed with this issue and hoping the dealer will take care of it when I bring it in for the 25 hour service.
If/when they fix it I'm getting some of the 3m rock-guard film to put on the fenders there.
I love mine too, with nearly 400km on it, it's a lovely machine to ride.

The Wheels are also different. they are the same as what is on the sp800.
It is an Automotive paint and needs to be season and maintained differently. Read the owners manually or there should have been a sheet of some sort in the packet to explain the Seasoning process. I'll do some looking into that. I seem to remember that on the 2005 model LEs.
