All those out there who have 500 sportys, what add-ons have you purchased? How much did they cost?

I added on the lockandride cargobox with backrest and side bags. I got a deal on the backrest and box for $190 and the bags for $20 each so total was $230

I also added a GPS mount for my Etrex ($30)

Looking at adding a mirror, handguards, bumpers and maybe tires.

Only thing I paid extra for above and beyond the purchase price was a windsheild .. 179 (CDN).

Other than that I've got the Warn 2500XT winch, upseat, fender protectors (r/r), foot pegs, mirrors, polaris pure bush guard and rear bumper, gloves and helmets for me and the wife as a $1000 discount (accessories) on the quad.

got it for msrp +tax ($10,299 CDN) going in for the 25 hour service on monday .. on the trails again next weekend .. wooooo!!!!

vehicle pricing is one way it sucks to be canadian .. especially with the exchange rate being what it is .. last I checked we were nearly on par at around 90c per dollar .. so you would expect pricing to be in line with that .. NOT!!!

 

I have too many things added..over the last couple years I estimate I have a good $2000-2500 in accessories. Heh..yes I have ALOT!

 

Can't say the wife would kill me.
