Where should I start. Well in the last 2 Mo. I had to replace the bendix, flywheel & front Diff. on my 04 700 EFI (approx. $1700). Thought all was well until I decided to take a nice cruise w/ my wife on this Memorial Day weekend, I must be crazy to expect this. About 6 Mi. in on a 12 Mi. loop at Rocky Gap (ANF in PA) started to hear loud clanging in the left front which got continually worse. While climbing a short hill, Boom, engine on no drive. Luckly( after prayer ) A Brute Force came along and towed me back. This is the third time I had to be pulled out of the middle of the woods(first 2 due to fuil pump failure, which I forgot to mention) with less than a 1000 Mi. I love the performance of the bike when it runs and always defend Polaris when people rag on them, but my patience is running thin.

 

You probably broke a belt.

 

Is that typical behavior for a belt breaking ?

 

I would pull the cover off and see...

 

Took it to the shop and the belt was fried, but had another suprise, the clutch was cracked. Another $350. Thank God for warranties.
