Has anyone removed their front brakes on their drag bikes? I have Skat~Trac smooth buff's on the front, so I know the front brakes wouldn't help much so I removed them. Has anyone had any bad experiences with this?

 

It will stop with just the rear brakes..... eventually. LOL j/k. Ive found that if I run 300ft. I need at least 300 to stop. And if someone, or somthing seems to be getting ready to cross your path - and you try to steer away from it, while the rear end is locked up, it can get pretty hairy.

 

well it depends on how long the hill is and if you ride your quad around the dunes. im sure it would be fine for just hill racing.

 

Well here in KY there are no dunes or hill racing. It's all flat sand/dirt drag racing. I think it will be ok as long as the chain dont fly off! LOL!

That would work, if I could hang on to it when the wind caught it!

ive never had any proplem with just my back brade but its diffrent for everyone

I meant having it attached to the bike, even when drag cars throws a chute it will almost pull the rear tires off the ground.
