Pistons? I've not ever heard of one for the 400 motor...I know they are a little lighter piston than stock.

Here is the scoup :

Use only a Wiseco - ( I stock engine cases - they sell for $300 - I keep 3 sets of cases in stock most of the time if you prefer to use other brands of pistons )

Use only Factory Polaris gaskets at over twice the cost of after market ($46 VS $20) If you want to use cheap gaskets I have new pistons in stock when they start to leak at the head and score the cylinder and piston.

Send the cylinder to me for boring ( the number of poeple that can properly bore , hone and chamfer a cylinder will fit in the back of my S-10 truck)

Wiseco piston ----->$108
Pin bearing -------->$17
Gaskets ------------> $46
Bore Job -----------> $40 <--- This low price is only good when the piston is purchased at my shop .
Total cost ----------> $211

Knowing it will run ----------->Priceless

I don't mean to sound so blunt guys , but this is just how it is.

Yer old buddy ,

Rick Ritter
