The rear shocks are adjustable to allow for heavier tungue loads. Consult your manual for adjustment prcedures

Scooter, There is adjusters on the rear shocks to increase the spring pre-load and stiffen up the rear. My "06" 700EFI came from the factory set in the softest position. It takes a spanner type wrench to adjust the shocks. You might be able to find one that will work at your local hardware store, or run it by the dealer and have him turn them up for you. If it still isn't stiff enough then the next option would be to change to heavier springs. Polaris,EPI,Speedwerx and others produce stiffer replacement springs if needed. Try the adjustment on the stockers first, because it does stiffen the rear somewhat. There are 5 positions to choose from counting the one they are now set in.

adjusting your springs is really easy. ive found it best to lift the rear end of hte quad off the ground to rid them of tension. get out the tool that came in your tool pack that looks like a black Sickle. there will be studded machined ring on the bottom side of the spring rotate it upwards (compressing the spring) and lock it down when you get to your desired tension. then lower the quad back down and try it out. if this ends up no working, a set of Sportsman MV rear springs would do the trick, i think there about 90 bucks

Spyder, I just went and checked my toolkit and didn't find a shock spanner wrench. They may not put them in the Sportsman toolkits. Either that or Polaris failed to send one with my machine, as I pulled it from the crate myself and helped set it up. Say they did include one with your Predator?

haha, all it is, is a stamped peice of metal that looks just like a Sickle and painted in some cheap *** black paint. most of the paint is worn off of mine that came with my predator, and i only adjusted my shocks twice. seems like they could teflon coat it or something so it would last.
