Default Odd Cooling issue

I'm almost sure that your water pump is faulty. It is hard to tell on an atv if it is working. I would try to disconect one of the hoses and start it up to see if it circulates. Maybe disconect it at the thermostat and see.
Where in Sudbury are you?

I am in Chelmsford

Default Odd Cooling issue

turns out is was a damn air lock.

Took it into the dealer today & after he checked the Tstat, he re-filled the cooling system & it worked fine. He figured that he didn't get all the air out the last time he serviced the bike (had to replace the filling neck).

Ultimately, the bike was not overheating. The air pocked was super heating causing a misread of the temp sensor.
