Default WHAT RPM`S TO MAKE TIRES MOVE

just had a new clutch and belt put in and the tires only start to move at 2900 rpm it seems to take a while to get going.I can`t remember what it use to engage at before but it seemed quicker.the clutch was cracked in 3 places thats why i replaced it.

polaris white spring that was in my 500 before. i will have to pull the cover off tomorrow to check the weigts but i do not think it is a weight problem because it all came in a kit and dealer put it together. i am not sure that`s why i asked the question here about the rpms.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

02 500 Scrambler with white sping engaged around 1950rpm with stock weights
yellow spring 2300rpm with 10MB weights both with a TEAM roller secondary.
On your 400 if you want to lower the engament try a siffer secondary setting or stiffer spring.

On the higher engament on the new clutch check to be sure the secondary preset tension is right.Spring could have slipped out or could have been installed wrong.
