700 vs. 800

Default 700 vs. 800

I talked to a salesman at a dealership today, and he told me that the 700 and 800 have the same engine in them. Is this true?

no that is no true. go to Polaris's site and see for your self...

off the top of my head the 700 has a 683cc motor and the 800 is 763cc's

No way. I can smoke a 700sp stock to stock, but not an 800. The 800 has alot more power.

i'm guessing here, but i beleave there both liberty engines and have a different stock and bore but maybe the same block? anyone know for sure,correct me please.

I heard off of one of the rags that the 800 or 760 engine came from one of ther snowmobiles
