Either an all-shaft drive Xplorer 400 or possibly a 500 Mag HO. Maybe take off some unneeded weight.
I have bigger dreams, but figure I ought to be realistic.

Yes, yes, A fuel guage and temp guage. Nothing fancy. The fuel guage could be as simple as a window in the plastic to see the fuel level inside. It wouldn't be hard to do, the tank is already plastic and translucent, just give us a window.
A temp guage would be nice, too, for those of us who like to watch that sort of thing. Why not make it a dealer add on accessory at a reasonable price?

bill

do u find the gage accurate?? does the needle move alot when u are riding on rough ground??

we had one like that in our lawn tractor and it was ok but the needle moved around alot as the gas sloshed around in the tank.

i was hoping for an electric fuel gage like the polaris sleds have.

ledebuhr,
The gauge is not as accurate as Id like it to be,but its pretty close. It has more fuel in the tank than it reads,so I have adjusted myself to reading it like that. The needle does move a little on harsher terrain, but its not real bad.For 18 dollars, its a DEFINATE buy,

My ideal quad would be an xpedition 625 cc with 8 gears. And re-designed so I could put 28 inch mudbugs on it. It would have sp500 like clearance to start with. It would be as tough as the current
xpeditions. It would let me know what gear I was in. It would have a better front end bumper set up
to more fully protect the rad and slide over obsticals. so tell polaris to make it for me! rangerchet
