Buddy of mine hit a steel well casing with his 2005 500 HO SP. It was in deep grass and he didn't see it it was sticking out about two feet. He hit it so hard that the front left wheel now touches the rear left wheel. Bent the frame real bad also. It rolled end for end three times he walked away but I doubt the bike can be fixed. The frame is screwed. NO INSURANCE!!!!!!...............New bike and no insurance bad bad bad

Ya I feel bad for him he was the last one of our group to get a bike waited and saved and now he is walking, We are going to strip it and see what need to be replaced. Trying to straighten the frame will be the hard thing. Not sure if it will ever handle the same if we did get it back together

Not trying to judge anyone here but why wouldn't he insure it for being fairly new? It is pretty cheap to insure and with the way these things are getting ripped off I would think it is smart money. I feel for your buddy because it would suck not having something to ride why everyone else is.

Hey we are all saying the same thing........why the heck didn't you have insurance??????? Hind sight is 20/20 I guess. He didn't have the extra cash and thought it would be fine. Now looking back it was a bad move. He needs a front axle, lower A frame, rim, wheel well plastic, front storage box, lower ball joint, tie rod and so on and so on

keep an eye on EBAY for the parts and double check that they will fit by checking them at www.partsland.com It may take awhile but it will save him a ton of cash.
