EBS question
Well to be perfectly honest I don’t know if you belt is shot!
I am just going by my experience with the Polaris clutching, you stated that the engine slowed you down a lot better when new then it does now. My thoughts are that as your belt wears it rides lower in the primary as well as the secondary clutch’s therefore giving it less mechanical leverage (or gear ratio) to slow your engine resulting in it not being as effective as it was when it was new.
Now I have not seen your machine and blanket statements like this are a bad idea on my part.
Also since you said there is a noise coming from that area it seems you need to open it up and check the system out …….springs , weights, belt wear and buttons.
Also check the primary clutch sheave faces as these tend to wear out.

EBS question
this atv is only a month old there better not be anything worn on it
the rattle seems like it is coming from the rear somewere not so much the clutch cover
i was wondering if it could be the chain being to loose because when i hit the throttle it goes away and the dealer said that once the chain stretches it may need to be tightened
i just dont know how to check for to much slack

EBS question
well i looked at it today and to be honest i have no clue
the rear bigger pulley seems to have a slit under the belt but not big enough for the belt to fit in
im not sure what to look at to see if there is ebs or not
the engine slows me down until i am at a complete stop then the quad will drift free for a couple seconds then the engine kicks in and stops it from gaining speed
