I have a 2001 Xplorer 250 4x4. What can i upgrade or change to give me more power and such, while remaing on a budget haha. If exhaust is suggested, please make sure it is US Forest Serivce Approved, as I do alot of riding in state forests.
Thanks alot guys!

Put in a Polaris white primary spring and a K&N air filter.

Get the jug ported and a good pipe with clutch spring. You can use your factory silencer with a good pipe.

Porting really livens a 250 up but I would wait until it was time to do a topend. And I really think the stock exhaust is a unit and not seperate(not for sure)
