I got Two new sportman 450's and me and my wife love them.I had a fuel gauge problem when I picked it up but the dealer (LCD NOT LIT UP) fix it no problem....very happy with them so far...... FIRST YEAR FOR THIS MODEL ...I KNOW BUT I HAVE FAITH IN POLARIS.......

 

actually there is no difference between the 400 from last year and the 450 from this year exept it uses the sportsman 500 piston and cam. neat huh?

can we conclude that the connecting rod would make the last 50cc? The sportsman 500HO was "invented" by some tinkerers putting the scrambler ho cam in the 500 non-HO sportsman. and yes.. some carb adjustments

 

well my 06 sportsman 500efi is ticking me off and i am getting frustrated! the fist hour 1 used it the hot light flashed and had to take it back to the dealer to fix it. here a question ? why was it not fixed before it took it , I know that they can look at the vin and see if there is any tsb's...... lazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then one day i was riding it in my field and i just died!!!!! what the f@#$!!!! this thing is brand new with 15 miles on it!!!! then it started to miss bad at about 3500 rpm jerk and buck and back fireand it was leaking oil like crazy from the valve covre gasket. i took it back to the dealer near me and they said it was the etc and they adjusted it and it was fixed. got it back did the same damn thing! took it back to them again and they said it needed a intake air temp sensor, they put that in still did it, now they say it needs a wiring harness, so i went and picked it up and am taking it to the dealer i bought it from and they will make me happy or they will be speaking to my lawyer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so YES,YES,DAMN YES!!!!! please if anyone else has had any of these problems please reply!!!!

The dealer is a real good guy ( doin all he can to help me out ) I read on this site where people was having them jetted down he kinda acted funny when I told so he is now on this forum lookin around and rejettin the carb. I just wanted everyone here to give a good shout out to him or tell the problems the last post to this before I replied I think I know what your problem is but not positive. Everyone here I am just wanting to see how open this site is and everyone with a no they have never had a problem or a damn no. Great execellent to hear . Everyone havin problems post em maybe the dealer can help that is why I started this to try to help it is not for some shady crap some may think in the back of there head I am wanting to try t opunish polaris with this I started this post because I am new and wantin to hear from anyone. No problems keep replyin
