Hahaha, no. If you knew my story, you'd be hoping for Polaris to come out with something like this too. BUT, if i just bought the '06 800, i'd be somewhat angry. Anyway, one of the dealers around here sells Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, and NOW Bombardier, and one of my friends just bought an Outlander 650H.O. EFi.. and now, im sure more and more people will be showing up with Outlanders. So anyway, im the ONLY person with a Polaris where i live. It takes a long time to get to the nearest Polaris dealer. Almost 2 hours. So i took a gamble when i bought my 700 from alot of different people. Friends, family, all saying from what they knew Polaris was junk. Well anyway, they've been proved wrong and im so glad i made the choice i did. So since im the market for another ATV, i would love nothing more than to get a new SP800cc, and this new's has got me very excited. And i do love that Christmas tree.

i hear ya. i must admit i want the 800 to have more as well for for a few buds have 750's and a out 800 so it would be a little more even playing field in the speed and power dept. we already have the best ride though. the extra will help turn these 27" tires as well. we'll soon know for sure. keep your fingers crossed.

I am waitng to see how many models will come standard with EFI. This seems to be a coming trend and after the haweye episode it seems that they could easily justify it.

Very true. More power would do nothing but help. Do you think they'll change the styling any at all? Also, if i get the '06 700EFI will it fit 27 inch tires with ITP Rims? More than likely ill be getting XTR's like you, OR a new pair of 589's. I know my 27inch 589's barely fit on my '04, which is why i ended up getting ITP rims and a lift to go along with them. But from what i can tell, the 05 and up Sportsman's look like they have more fender clearance. So how are your XTR's and Rims holding up? They look sweet. Do they rub if you're going fast and hit a bump, or is it ok?

there great. they actually w/ the itp rims give me more clearance between tire and strut up front. they are 6 ply as well and dont have the side wall flex like the pxt does. about the only thing i can say is they will dig you one hell of a hole so you will be stuck for sure(not like thats a bad thing) and they stick out beyond the fenders as well so even not in the mud you will get dirty from the tires. i do beleave the 700 has the same set up as my 800 and you have more then enough power to turn them. of course i always use l.range in the bad stuff anyways.

Awesome! I think i will go with the XTR's then. I think the Chrome Type 7's would look silly on a Camo dont ya think? Anyway, so are you saying that they stick out so much that you'll get really dirty? Or the fenders keep you from getting dirty all together? I hear they help with handling, traction, etc.. How much did you pay for yours?
