The announcement was that Polaris wasn't going to buy the other 75% of KTM, and they were to stay seperate. But they were still going to work together and supply engines. You will be eating crow very soon.

the Fuji motor makes 48 horsepower at the crank, the KTM 525 motor makes 61 horsepower at the crank

polaris I do believe bought 25% of the company, KTM rejected the offer to buy the majority of the company tho.

Thats what I ment, KTM didn't want to sell thus Polaris won't be buying the other 75%. But they are still in together and will work as seperate companies.

I dont think polaris was planning on buying 75% of the company, just 50.1 percent (total) thus controlling all of the decisions made in the KTM world

next year i believe polaris will have the option of buying cross industries share in ktm or cross will buy polaris' share in ktm. right now cross owns majority of ktm. so it could swing either way

Are you guys actually mad at the new machine or just blowing smoke? I thought that it is the job of Polaris to keep making things better and faster. I'm glad they are stepping up to the plate. Other companies have caught up and passed in some cases some of the line up. Polaris needs to keep the edge. It's nice to know they still have some amo left in the gun.
