KTM 525 Outlaw announced tonight!!
#1
I heard from a dealer that is at the show. So it looks like the Pic that was floating around is true and not a fake. That pic came from Polaris's 07 accessory catalog. But I am still outraged that I had to wait 7 months after there release last July 22 to finally get one in Feb. Now just 5 months after they hit the dealer floor they changing everything. That is just not right. Now my Outlaw won't be worth crap because the 525 will be lighter and more powerful. I hope they do something for us Outlaw owners. I know I am going to call and put up a huge stink over this. Other Outlaws owners I would call to.

The guy also said ths SP800 will be more powerfull, but just didn't know how yet. Also the Ranger XP is suppose to be improved. I guess will find out tonight. Man I hope he was blowing smoke, but he sounded very confident.

Ge4x4:
Ok for one: NOT THEIR FAULT. Throughout the developement of the OUtlaw, they used a FUJI motor and that was their plan. Then Negotiations for the deal went down after the Outlaw was released. I understand your frustration, i've been there. Try buying a Scrambler 500 X 2x4 model at the end of the '02 model year because it's the fastest four stroke Polaris ever made then have the Pred come out in '03. YOu think you've got it rough!?! Further more on the subject of calling Polaris to put up a big fuss, do you HONESTLY feel that it is reasonable to demand that they not release an improved product in the name of you retaining a high resale value? Sorry, but that does not seem reasonable at all to me...
Now for what would make me reallllllllly mad:
Everyone knows how bad i want the KTM Predator. Now with how severly they were pushing the outlaw on Matt Smiley, remember that's why he quit riding for them for a while, i could see them only updating that thing as they figure that's their racing future anyway, whereas riders like me (18-21) might prefer the solid axle's more positive feel. So if Polaris wants to totally **** some folks off, they could only update the outlaw and leave the Predator with the FUJI motor. That would suck.
