Just wondering if any of you guys have heard of the stock 800 pipe cracking and/or completly seperating? Have a friend who has one and where the 2 pipes come together to one, it has come apart on the weld. Just wondering if this has been an issue with anyone. Noboby else around where I live has had this problem.

 

how many miles on it? ive got one w/ 450 miles and no problem as yet.

 

1100 miles. I've seen them with over 10,000 miles with no issues. Maybe its just a fluke

 

Yours is not the first to be reported on this forum. You could search back for this issue and find some more people who have experienced this and I believe found a cause in their case.

 

Same thing happened last week to a guy that I ride with. The pipe on his 800 completely seperated. WOW was it ever loud !!! We had to ride through town, past the cop shop at 12:30 at night with open exhaust to get home...that was fun. Not sure if he got it fixed yet, but it is still under warranty.
