Sportsman Hand Guards???
#1
Just got back from a rather chilly ride, and found that Polaris has hand guards for the Sportsman. They are a "high-density polyethylene" and I think they would be awesome for the chilly winter days I am out there. Anybody bought thme for their Sportsman, or a similar company's guards? Canadian price is 80 bucks Canadian, about 55 U.S. I'd start shopping around, but I really don't think I'm going to find a similar guard at that cost. Sure they look like Mickey Mouse ears, but who cares when your hands are staying warm...right?

I have them on both my quads and they may look a bit less sporty than some others but they keep your hand pretty warm. I just went out riding(-5c)with Motocross gloves on and was just a bit cold.
They look great on the SP...everyone loves Mickey!
Plus they keep all the mud/branches off your hands in the warmer seasons.

Yep...at the dealer. About 85$
Kinda expensive but worth the money. Smaller, sportier ones don't cut down the wind and cold and do not protect as well from branches and mud. Have the dealer install them...for the price they charge it's the least they could do!
And yes...they have been through h*ll and back and are still in one piece.

The polaris guards work great, I spent three weeks out in the woods Moose hunting (got 3 Moose) and spent a lot of time busting the brush and didn't have bloody knuckles this year. The price is outragous for the plastic you get. This is one of the few things from Polaris that is over priced.
Good Day ehh
