Default EPI Tie rod end

I just put a new EPI brand outer tie rod end on my scrambler. Everything went better than I expected and the new part fit well and seems solid. But one word of caution, the rubber boot around it is not as stretchy as the original polaris boot. When I tried to lift it up to grease the new rod end, I ended up ripping the new boot. Not a big deal, I just put the old rubber boot back on. Just wanted to warn everyone to be careful with these replacement boots. Has anyone else had this experience?

Has anyone else tried these tie rod ends and run into this?
