Default Nicholas Cycle Carb mod?

Who has had this done? Did you like the outcome? I was thinking of buying the Rath header pipe and doing the carb mod. Any tips?

Ride safe

Well, looky here... he lives and he rides. Don't you have trees to trim?

I had the nicholas carb mod done on my 05 preddy. That wasn't enough so I sent the whole motor in... . However, the carb mod is worth it. I put it on the 03. If you go to coos with us sometime you can take the 03 for a spin.

The rath head pipes will help. You might want to consider a CDI as well, so you can take advantage of the better flow through the intake and exhaust.

The carb mods are great.......expensive, but worth it I think. Much more response, and power. I'd say the best bang for the buck on the pred........Also, get a twin air clamp on filter(from Doug).......it is the filter of choice.

My next mod would be the rath header too.......very free flowing header......gives lots of bottom end too.

Then, yes you might eventually want a cdi.....

That is too big of a carb for a basically stock motor...........waay too big. Plus, stay away from hpd.........lots will tell you this......we love their stuff for the 400's......but for the pred, they are always a step behind
