i bought an 03 predator and in doin the maintence on it i greased all the fittings the one on the rear axle, does it take a different type of grease cause when i put new grease in the stuff that ran out was runny like it may be a different weight or maybe just old??

 

How long has it been since you greased it? It might have gotten moisture in it or something.

All takes the same grease........I always grease after being in water(even washing)......to get any water out of the seals. There should be 8 zerks on the front a-arms.......1 on the steering stem, up near the handle bars.....and the one in the rear on the axle.

like he said, most likely water. it will change the denisity or the oil as well as the color w/ water mixed w/ it.
