Default 700 electrical problem

This problem is on a 2002 700twin. With the engine running or stopped all electrical functions will shut off then come back on. Just like a light switch, any suggestions to my problem. It is completly speratic. Thanks in advance.

Could this possibly be a circuit breaker, if so where is it located?

Default 700 electrical problem

I had the same problem for a long time on my 02 700. I found the 20 amp circuit breaker, located under the front panel below the headlight pod, was full of corrosion. The circuit breaker is encased in a black heat shrink bad. You have to cut the bag open to access the circuit breaker. I bought a new circuit breaker and installed it. You can find them at any automotive repair shop. You have to seal it up after you connect the wires again. I recommend some di-electric grease on the ring terminals as well.
