I get it....."put your feelers out" @ the quad B4 jumping on and while riding....

This reminds me of the animals that went for the hills B4 the Asian Tsunami and us smart humans didn't notice until it was up to our bungholes

What the HELL Polaris! I know some of you Polaris executives read these forums, I really like the cd that came with my Oct quad magazine, Yeah it looked good and the way you bashed the Brute force and Bomb Outlander in your DVD. I have heard great things about Polaris and TONS of bad things. I would like to consider the 800 Polaris for my next quad for my girlfriend but it's getting harder to think about it after hearing all the bad stuff!
My Brute Force may take a little extra effort to ride and pull a lever here and shift to low or high there, BUT! I know it's going to make it where it's going.
BY the way the test corse looked hoky and I would put my BF against the Polars in the run time against your Polaris ANYDAY and you can use your 150 lb test riders (I am 6'6 and 330 lbs)
If I wanted and smooth riding quad I would buy a Escalade with a thumb throttle!

CLEAN UP YOU ACT POLARIS! THESE GOOD PEOPLE LOVE YOU PRODUCT AND SPEND DAMN GOOD MONEY FOR THEM.

No ITS CALLED.....There is a bunch of idiots in these companys and dealers that need to be replaced with people who know what they are doing and care about the folks that buy the product!
There is problems with ALL the makes that we just shouldn't have to deal with, and if we do it should be painless.
I was just reading Quad mag OCT edition and they have several pages of problems we deal with on these brands.
I just hope that Kawai for me and other brands for the rest of you folks step up and notice who puts food on the dinner table at night for them. JUST ONE TIME I would like to see a maker of these machines step up and point out themselves whats wrong or could be improved about the stuff they make and sell us insted of the compitition bashing it.
I am discussted and late for work so pardon the no speel check and good luck. Calvin

I gave Polaris my idea of a rear hub fix. They are not interested in hearing it. I know I ay be just a dumb blue collar worker compared to them, but we use there products in real world situations. Honestly the only thing that pisses me off abou the quad is the rear hub. The belt is not made by Polaris, or so I don't think it is, So I can't blame Polaris. The water pump seal, well stuff happens. The headlights, I still have no clue. My point is, fix the hub problem and I would be as loyal as the rest here that have shouted ABUSE to me.

One thing for sure, maybe the bolt strength for the hub is to blame and whoever made the belt may have screwed mine up, but with these kind issues I find it hard to advertise it as THE WORLDS TOUGHEST ATV. The bottom line is, I know the way my quad has been cared for and to have these problems and the guys at the dealer say I should have bought a Grizz, that pisses me off!

I feel all of your pain!!! One thing that I can say for sure is that I recently bought a Polaris SP 700 and it will be the last Polaris that my family will ever own. The people that work for Polaris are nothing but liers, and they simply con their customers. Free winch my ***!!! I have never been treated, or ripped off by a company like Polaris did me. I can promise you that Polaris will never see another dollar from us.

I am sorry to say, but I bought a polaris in Dec 05 and had hugh problems with the dealer. I was so mad that the store manager gave me a free polaris blanket 3 shirts a free oil change. And told me I was a preferred customer. Well a couple months later I decided we needed another atv and went to the shop looking at the multirider and was quoted $8400 for a base model, no bumpers no winch, hand warmers nothing. Then I went up north about 120 miles(seeing some friends) and found the dealer there would sell the EXACT same model for $7300. It pissed me off so much I sold my polaris and now have 1 brand new Arctic cat TRV and an used 05 v2 650. But also had problems ordering the new TRV. But AC has assured us the dealer is under investigation as he has had several problems in the past and apparently has had warnings from arctic cat.
Dang is it just me or should these dealers be held accountable. The one thing I have noticed from most all brands and shops that I have been in is that they make me feel like I am putting them out by asking questons and wanting help looking at new machines. Or maybe it is just I am not on their favorite customer list. Still looking to by another atv in a couple of months.

Instigater why would you put such large wheels and tires on your ride and expect it not to be problematic? that being said i wouldn't expect with so few miles.

I am telling you guys, all I do is trail ride until I see a hole. If my grizzly buddies go through it, why should I go around it? I am a freak about this quad. I don't even wipe the mud off of the speedo lens for fear of scratching it.

I usually have my 6 yr old boy with me. I am not normally over 25 MPH. on the trail. I see guys who are on the trail with cell phones hanging on the hip and going AROUND the mud puddles, If that is what they like to do thats fine. I on the other hand am looking for the next mud hole.

Most of you guys know the faster you hit a hole the quicker you get stuck. I just like to putt through the thick stuff and keep going. I ride with equivalent size grizzlys and it makes me mad that I have more money in this Polaris and it just ain't GETN R DUN!

I have a buddy on a Grizz that Hare scrambles his, I won't even enter one of those. You may find it hard to believe, but when My buddy is on a hare scramble and someone is in his way, he'll give you 2 secs to move over. After that he starts ramming you. That is abuse. He has the front bumper to prove it.

I ride at Wayne Nat'l Forrest. The locals here know that that is known for trail riding, yes there are mud pits here and there, but miles upon miles of trails. So the bigger tires I feel are no issue. They are 1" taller than stock. Very aggressive tread pattern,...l'll agree. I have no axles ripping out though. Tires do not change the axle angle, so I see no problem with the tires. I only get 1/2 inch more GC with them.
