the 06 500 will beat the ol 600 grizz. I dragged a grizz with my SP 700 this saturday. was kinda of surprised as the grizz was cluthed and had brand new belt, stock tires. Mine is stock except i ride mudzillas which has slowed me down tons and I still took the grizz. then he snapped and axle [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

ya the 600 griz is a good bike good low end punch but needs a locking front diff to be as good as a polaris

 

My Stock Grizzly 660 can hang right with a Polaris Sportsman 800... it has about 1-2 mph top speed advantage but we're right there side by side until top speed. My speedo says I'm running at 63, but I had someone in a truck following me saying they were going 70... The polaris' speedometer tops at 70, and it will do all of it so I'm guessing it will run around 71-72 where mine is digital on the Grizzly.

 

my 800 will walk away from my friends bf 750 top end. he'll beat out of the whole though. we both are running 27" tires.

 

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a bf 750? what does the bf stand for?

My experience, Years ago I raced my dads then new 97 sp500(non H.O) against a new 98 600 Grizzly and I lost on pickup and top end. I raced my dads sp500 with my sp500 H.O and I beat him in the same way. I would imagine if that 600 Grizzly was around it would be a close race between us.

The 600 grizzly was far from a slow ATV.

 

personally i like to see how we compare in the trails in the woods and over the rough stuff. i love the irs to soak up the bad treain vs some of the straight axles i've rode with.
