Just got a question in regards to the needle jet clip setting for a scram 400. I've got a modded 400 that's been ported, air box mod, 270 main jet, v-force reeds. What I'm curious about is, does anyone from the southern US (I live in southern Louisiana) know what clip setting they have their needle jet set on with similar mods? I just need a starting point and from there I will check the jetting as needed. I beleive I should have gone up one clip setting after I did the mods and I know that I didn't and it has a hesitation before getting into the powerband. Thanks again.
