Just got a Polaris atv in to service and the the key or kill switch will not turn the atv off..I had to shut gas off and let it run out before it would shut off.?????

 

sounds like someone has messsed w/ the wiring harness or unhooked it. i beleave its just a basic grounnd out system to shut it off. look around at the connections to make sure their all hooked up and not been modified.

 

my polaris 500 (1999) will not just turn off with the key. The kill switch works. Most of the time I can turn the key 90% off so i just wriggle the key and it works. I just contend with it.
