25x11x12 vs 25x10x12?
#1
I have the 11 in the rear stock but most tires only come in 10 for the rear? I know it's an inch less in width. I want an 11' but noone really has them. bounty hunters, mudlites,or interco. I don't think I want to go up to a 26 as I will need spacers etc. Anyone use the 25x10x12 on a 700 twin? Is it noticeably smaller? Why does polaris use the 11" rear when most the others use a 10' rear?

I had 26x12x12 dirt devils on my 05 500ho for a while and 26x10x12 on the front. They didn't come anywhere near close to rubbing, or need for spacers. It came with 26x11x12 on it, so I can't imagine why you would need spacers to run a 26x11???? I have a buddy with 28x12x12 on his 05 400 and he didn't have to add spacers or a lift. Just mounted them and drives it like there's no tomorrow.

you wouldnt need spacers for the 26"x11 or 12" for the rear. stock 06's have the 26 on stock its the front when you go wider that you have to worry about rubbing.

Most 26s are 9 inches or wider ,the PXTs are 26s but are 8 inches wide, I have 25x8x12 on the front of mine and they are close to the strut, I would like to go to a 26in. but I think they would rub on the strut, I have Vision wheels and they are already spaced out alittle.
It would be great if more companys would offer 26s in a 8in. wide tire, but they all think bigger is better. BS!

I agree the 26x12x12 in the rear is no problem but you will need spacers in the front for the 26x9x12. Does anyone have the 25x10x12 in the rear? I just want to see if it's a difference compared to the stock size 25/11/12. I really don't want to go smaller in the rear but it looks like I will have to unless I go with a stock tire offered in the 26'. How r the PXT's. I could go 26x8x12 and 26x11x12 just on the stock newer PXT's. HOW R THEY? r they better than the goodyear rawhides I have now? I really want a mudlite or swamplite though

You can run just about any width on the back without problems.
The front however, depends on the tire manufacture. I've never seen a 8" wide front tire that didn't fit, and anything 11" or wider will definitely need spacers. As for 9" &10", so fit, and some don't. All depends on who makes the tire because none of them actually measure what they say.
