Im hard on my atv's and alot can happen in 22miles. If I buy a new quad and go race it in a hare scramble the day I buy it, and break an axle do you think polaris would do anything for me? Probably not.
Were you just going down the road and it broke? what exactly were you doing? That may give us a little more insight.
I hate to say it, yeah its tough and Im sure it sucks but its all part of atv'ing
good luck and I hope you get it on the road soon.

Oversizesd tires and lift, do not void the warranty, the fact is if it causes defects, they arent warrantyable, the atv still is covered under any ohter issues.
Be sceptical , ur choice dude. WTF

So, the oversize tires and lift don't void the warranty?
I'm just a little skeptical of this whole "I am a teck for a polaris dealer" statement.

well guys here is the whole story, I am a teck for a polaris dealer, I cant pull one out of another bike, they have used 2 diffent axles in the 07s already, this one is the latest version, and not readily avail. Gorrila and the cv man have axles they think will work, but they are like myself, unsure as to what and why the change in axles,,,,
I have busted scads of axles before and replaced with HDs from other suppliers, had good luck, but this atv had 22 miles on it, dont plan on keeping it more than the warranty peroid ad want the keep all stock mechanical parts in place..
I am running 30" mud lites, and 3 " lift... also the hot seat duals. everything about the atv is killer, but the backing from polaris industries, well I really cant get too far into it, it makes ME look bad when I am loosing controll of patiens for the company that is my livelyhood. oh well what can u do . smile and bear it..
Thanks fellas, needed the suppert.

id "waste" 200 bucks to be able to ride my quad.
have fun.

did u break the bike in first? if u did at least u would have been able to ride it
for a while before it broke. this is like someone who buys a new pickup truck
puts big mudder tires on it, mods the motor up, goes to a mud run then breaks a
cv joint in it. the whole machine must be built to handle the load. I do agree that
polaris should have the parts on hand right at the get go!!!!! but it looks like it
is going to break anyway, go stronger & stop the breakage!!

I work at a gm/dodge dealership. When we have new model vehicles with breakdowns and the parts will not interchange from 06, we have a long wieght. We had a cadilac XLR come in with a power steering leak. It needed a new pump. It took over 3 months to get it and the guy just paid over 85,000 bucks for it 2 weeks before. Less than 400 miles on it. Every company has this problem on new stuff as far as parts go. I do wish they would have parts on hand before they introduce the model. It would make life alot easier

Man, you guys are a tough crowd! Have a little sympathy on the dude. And BTW, where did you get the 3" lift? I might want one for my new 800. Also, what do you think of your duel exhaust? Did it boost torque enough to warrant the cost?

For those who wonder what a teck is, I am a service manager/msd certified technician for a multi line recreation dealer.
